Week 7 (6th Jan - 12th Jan 2025)

The first full week of the year brought significant progress across fitness, tech, and work!

What I accomplished:

  • Stayed consistent with gym and diet.
  • Hit a 150 kg deadlift PR again after 2 years!
  • Lost a couple of kgs with visible fat loss.
  • Self-hosted two amazing tools: Immich as a Google Photos alternative & my own LLM using Ollama and WebUI.
  • Stayed productive at work, meeting all weekly goals.
  • Tried the new Marvel Rivals game over the weekend.

Lifestyle updates:

Good:

  • Strong fitness progress and productive week at work.
  • Exciting self-hosting projects completed.

Bad:

  • No Japanese practice this week—need to refocus on it.
  • Diet and sleep need fixing

The first week of the new year was fantastic—setting the bar high for the rest of 2025!
